What is the process for boarding my dog?

We begin with a conversation to understand your dog's needs and invite you for a familiarization visit to help both you and your dog get comfortable with The Wag Social. Once you're ready to proceed, you'll complete an online form with your dog's vaccination records, medical history, dietary requirements, and other important details.

On arrival, we conduct a thorough check-in assessment and gently help your dog settle in. Each dog is assigned a dedicated "buddy" who supports their transition, introduces them to other dogs at their own pace, and helps them feel at home. Throughout their stay, we share regular updates via WhatsApp, and before departure, we conduct a final wellness check to ensure a smooth and happy journey home.

Is my dog supervised at all times?

Yes. At The Wag Social, all dogs are supervised by trained handlers or Buddy as we would like to call them, throughout their stay. We closely monitor behaviour, comfort, and group dynamics to ensure a safe and positive experience.

Can I check on my pet during their stay?

Absolutely! We share regular photo and video updates via WhatsApp so you can stay connected and enjoy peace of mind throughout your dog's stay. We can arrange video calls upon request.

What happens in case of an emergency?

For the health of all boarders, we require up-to-date vaccinations. Dogs must have Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. Cats must have Rabies and FVRCP. All records must be provided by your vet and uploaded or emailed to us at least 48 hours prior to checking in.

Do you provide transportation?

Yes. We offer door-to-door transportation managed directly by The Wag Social team. This helps ensure a safe, comfortable, and familiar travel experience for your dog while providing added convenience for pet parents.

My dog has never boarded before. Will they be okay?

Many of our guests are first-time boarders. We take introductions slowly, provide a dedicated caregiver, and help each dog settle at their own pace to ensure a positive experience.
